Atari fought back at the Intellivision sports commercials with a 1981 ad featuring a kid dressed as George Plimpton trying to compare Atari and "the other company's" space games - only to discover that the other company doesn't HAVE any space games.
Intellivision responded with this ad, which starts like the Atari commercial with a kid dressed like George Plimpton. Then the REAL George Plimpton sets him straight.
